Uplift

A united effort from multiple Rotherham based organisations come together every year to celebrate all things street and urban sports culture. Uplift celebrates what was once deemed anti-social and rebellious: skateboarding, parkour, rap, street dance, DJing, etc. These organisations all come together in Rotherham town centre to provide a safe and fun space for people to explore and learn about these urban sporting hobbies. Rotherham Music provides a live music stage with performances from local bands and artists, especially focussing on rock, metal, rap, DJ and hip-hop genres. Uplift Festival is held every year in July.
