Get Involved
There are multiple ways to get involved in our events, concerts and festivals, depending on the type of event and how exactly you are willing or able to get involved.

For events like One Voice and Big Blast, we work with schools around the borough, if you belong to a Rotherham school as a teacher or member of administrative staff, you can get in contact with us via email at music@rotherham.gov.uk in order to find out how your school can get involved in these kind of events.

For festivals and concert events like Signals, Uplift the Rotherham Show, etc. We sometimes put out open artist callouts to find new local artists and bands to perform. If you are a musician or are in a band, keep an eye on our social media pages on Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and Twitter (X), or on the news section of this website, when we have an artist callout, posts will go out with details on how to contact us and what information you will need to provide.

We also accept the help of Volunteers at a number of our events. These volunteers will help with stewarding, set-up and put-down and other miscellaneous tasks on the day of events. For this we often pull from RMBC volunteers.

Finally, the Friends of Rotherham Music, are a charity who work behind the scenes to support Rotherham Music with fundraisers and other vital work, they are a volunteer service, made up mostly of past Rotherham Music alumni or parents of current alumni.
