Saturday Music School

Our Saturday Music School activities are based at Oakwood High School. They are open to children and young people who attend a Rotherham school or who live within the Borough. We also have community music groups open to all ages and abilities.

Saturday Music School offers:

• Opportunities to perform in a wide variety of musical groups in a friendly and supportive environment

• Enjoyment and fulfillment gained through music-making which is an integral part of the student’s musical tuition

• Developing existing skills through working with expert staff

• Sharing an enthusiasm for music with others

• Learning through activities from the early stages right through to advanced groups

• Opportunities to participate in concert trips and residential weekends.

Enrolment to Saturday Music School activities is £25 per term for one activity, £40 per term for two or more activities.

​

In addition to our Saturday morning School we also offer Monday evening guitar and senior strings groups from 5:30-8:00.
