Friends of Rotherham Music
The Friends of Rotherham Music is a registered charity. We are a group of parents whose children have, or are still benefiting from the wide range of activities and experiences that are offered by the Rotherham Music.
Our aim is to help raise funds to support visits, provide activities for the younger students and recognise the contributions made by senior band members as they leave for further/higher education or in some cases, employment.
We are always look for new members to join us and would welcome input from parents and carers of students to help drive us forward and make suggestions on how we can best support music activities with Rotherham Music.
A number of fundraising projects have been successfully undertaken by the Friends, with monies used to support all members of Rotherham Music. In addition to specific money raising projects, funds are generated by selling drinks and refreshments during concerts that are being performed by the various ensembles and anyone who is able to help in making this a success, would be most welcome.

The Friends also have a link to easyfundingraising.org.uk to help raise funds for Rotherham Music. Easyfundraising are having a promotion where additional bonus donations are being given if holiday travel is booked through an Easyfundraising partner. The Friends meet at Rawmarsh CLC, generally every two months and on an evening when students are already attending their various groups. Why not come along and join us in helping to enhance the facilities from which our children already gain so much enjoyment?
We are always keen to receive new ideas for fundraising events and/or projects from anyone associated with the Music Service and would be pleased to welcome any offers of assistance.
